Neist Point is a lighthouse situated on the most westerly tip of the Isle of Skye in Scotland and is a very popular spot with photographers, especially at sunset.
We decided on a whim to stop at the Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan after one of the workshop participants recommended it on route to Neist Point.
I have to admit, I had never heard of the place before but am glad they were able to accommodate us at such short notice although we had to work off the fine dining at Neist Point to make up for it.
For those of you who have not been before, I would whole heartedly recommend it as it was one of the best meals I have ever had.
As for Neist Point itself, the sunset never really materialised as it was cloudy all evening but we made up for the weather with some long exposures.
