This image is taken from South Queensferry of the road bridge with the rail bridge just to the right and out of the frame. It is a 136 second long exposure to smooth out the water hitting the rocks. I singled out these 3 rocks for the foreground composition and cloned out a few others to the left of those to give it a minimalist look. I like both versions and they work in their own way but this is the first I decided to post.
There is a new bridge currently under construction, known for now as the Forth Replacement Crossing, which will be situated in the distance from this current view. It will give us photographers some updated viewpoints to shoot soon enough!Blog post: Forth Road Bridge, South Queensferry →
