The superb waterfall is located in the small village of Arbirlot, located just outside Arbroath. Whilst not my first visit to this waterfall, it has certainly been a long time since my last visit even though I pass the area regularly on my way along that part of the coast to other locations.
Given the amount of rain we have been having recently, I did expect a torrent of water, which did not disappoint and the sun even shone that day. Unfortunately though, the midges were out in force too!
I knew wellies were a must so that I could get in close and capture the water sweeping in between and over the rocks. My aim was to get an image that wasn’t just about the waterfall but also included the surroundings.Blog post: Arbirlot Falls, Angus →
