Last weekend saw another outing to the Isle of Skye hoping for a sunrise of some kind. Although it was misty/foggy and there was not much light, as always you try and make the most of it.
As one of the photographers that joined me on the trip and I walked along the path, to the points known as the ‘Prison’ and the ‘Table’, you come to a point on the path where you are looking down on the ridges that are probably the most photographed and I immediately thought having a figure standing on the edge looking down would make for an interesting photo and it worked as well as I had hoped.
Not long after this was taken a walker passed, with his dog and stood at the same point for a brief moment so I have another version of this I like too, which I may post at some point.
What I like most about this image is the way it reminds me of my Contemplation image, with a lone figure just taking in the view before them and I assume feeling amazed with Scotland’s truly breathtaking landscape.
