I was at the press conference and public lecture by Kengo Kuma, who is the lead architect for the V&A Dundee project to take some images of the press and public lecture.
Jute No More Book Launch
Tonight was the launch of the Jute No More: Transforming Dundee Book, published by Dundee University Press, which uses my image of Dundee on the Cover.
Nicole and Brent
Last week I took 7 photographers out to the City Quay for an on-location shoot with 2 local models, Nicole and Brent, to teach them about lightening and shooting on-location away from a studio using portable/remote flash. Thanks also to Charlene, the day’s make-up artist, who did a great job.
Take Me to the Moon
On a recent visit to the Mills Observatory in Dundee, along with other members of our local camera club, and we were treated to a introduction to Astronomy by the staff, given a tour of the planetarium and finally given a chance to photograph the Moon using an adapter to connect our cameras to the main telescope.

Hamilton Mausoleum
Hamilton Palace Mausoleum is a remarkable domed structure, which was the resting place of the family of the Dukes of Hamilton and is located in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The mausoleum can be seen from the M74 motorway but very few actually know what the building is and many have never been inside it.
Scottish Motorshow
I attended the recent Scottish Motorshow (7th Scottish Motorfair) at Knockhill, Fife with friends with the express plan of photographing some of the ‘exotic’ cars as they did their laps around the famous track.
