Limited edition £20 banknote featuring Scott McTominay

The Bank of Scotland £20 polymer note, that featured my aerial image, has a new limited edition version featuring Scott McTominay’s incredible goal that saw Scotland into the World Cup.

Created to celebrate Scotland’s return to the top table of international football, just 100 brand new notes featuring the design have been printed and will be available through a mix of collector auctions, a public raffle, and two pop-up ‘vaults’ appearing for one day only in two city centre locations – Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Proceeds from the auction and prize draw will go to Bank of Scotland’s charity partner, Crisis. Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness; it provides services directly to those who need it, and campaigns for the changes needed to end homelessness for good.

The online auction is live now and runs until 11am on Friday 26 June and tickets for the raffle cost £10 each (there is a free entry), if you fancy your chances in that, whilst raising money for charity.

The Vault idea sounds fun but I image it will be a popular draw and limited notes to win.

Full details can be found on the Bank of Scotland page dedicated to the note: bankofscotland.co.uk/mctominay

Best of luck to the Scotland team! We will all be roaring for you!
