Dundee City Quay

Dundee’s City Quay is a very beautiful and modern area of the city having been redeveloped with a shopping centre and sought after office and residential property in recent years.

I have been down here on many occasions especially when it is very calm and the dock waters turn to glass resulting in absolutely perfect mirror reflections.

In fact, one of my most successful images is the following one, which because of the conditions, becomes unrecognisable to most local folk and they are very surprised to learn the location. Generally, they can’t believe I was able to make the area look so beautiful!

A canvas of this image has also been on display in the Apex Hotel for some time and the positive feedback (and sales!) received from the admirers of the image never fails to amaze me.

Just goes to show that there are some great photos to be had right on our doorstep!
