Seeing as how we have not had any proper snow yet, I thought I would post something that will remind us of what we are missing. The famous Schiehallion in Perthshire and more specifically, Kinloch Rannoch.

Well the first post of 2012, as you can see the site has been updated with a new layout to mark the occasion! Plenty of forthcoming news and blog posts even though the weather has not been the best over recent weeks and apparently the snow is just around the corner!

Many of you will have seen this image at the start of the year and on the homepage of my website but I thought I would post it to the blog as I seemed to have missed adding it here and it's that time of year!

One from earlier in the year at Clatto Reservoir taken during the year when the sun sets directly behind this tree line on a relatively calm evening. The reflections are almost perfect thanks to the 10-stop filter which 'froze' more of the reflections.

Broughty Ferry lies on the mouth of the River Tay and has excellent views of Fife and back onto Dundee and the Tay Road/Rail Bridges.
